An Old Man And A Hooker
They sat down at one corner
of that old coffee shop.
They talk, they laugh, they cried and then they stop.
Taking a sip of his low sugar tea,
he then recall the day he was left alone.
His wife died, an old woman she was.
That day he felt everything was gone.
Life goes on and he still has his family,
his son, the plumber, named Billy.
Well Billy and his wife Maggie along with
their children wasn't so keen on having him around.
Because Billy making wasn't so much any and
Maggie felt the house was too small lately.
The old man fell in out of bound and decided to
stay out of town, and here he is a homeless
man living on the streets 'cause his only son drives
him on his feet...well Billy the kid...he sighs...my son.
Susie wipes her tears and tells her part.
Being a third class prostitute wasn't her heart
Ran away from parents who guards her freedom
Ran away with her boy so far away to “Eden”
Her boy got killed in a street gang fight
Now, living alone in the city was such a fright
Parading the streets to seek for a bite
And feeling so cold and hungry till' midnight
When she sleeps and dreamed about her home
makes her woke up and wants to grab a phone
and called up Mommy and Daddy to pick her up
But something in her head makes her to shut up
She met a stranger and the stranger becomes a friend
A friend of misery that was to be...
Mosh 1996.
